Polaroid Emulsion Transfer Art Print – Collaborative Mixed Media Photography

This unique art piece is the result of a creative collaboration between two artists Anastasiia Syd and Mariia Zhurykova. The original photograph was printed using a Polaroid printer and then transformed through an emulsion transfer process onto high-quality watercolor paper. This delicate technique allows the photographic emulsion to be lifted and applied by hand, creating a dreamlike, textured aesthetic that enhances the emotional depth of the image.

The transferred image was then thoughtfully completed by a second artist, who added her own artistic touches using mixed media. The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork that blends analog photography with hand-crafted detailing, making it a compelling fusion of spontaneity and intention.

Each piece is part of a limited series, with slight variations that ensure no two are exactly alike—a true celebration of artistic synergy and individuality.
